“Your Responsibility Today” by Mary Morrissey

The poet Hafiz writes, “I know the way you can get when you have not had a drink of love. Your face hardens. Your sweet muscles cramp. Children become concerned about a strange look that appears in your eyes… Even angels fear that brand of madness that arrays itself against the world.”

Your opportunity today, and your responsibility today, is to drink of love, to really let love in.

Love is everywhere available, but you cannot drink from that well with a cracked cup; you will not retain anything.

What will seal your cup? Certainly more trust in life, affirming that love is your nature, and love is your right.

Drink love in,

Mary Morrissey
