Sidney Poitier wrote a wonderful book called, “The
Measure of Man.”
In his book he says, “Living consciously involves being genuine. It involves listening and responding to others honestly and openly. It involves being in the moment.”
I think the measure of a life could involve these same traits. Deeper meaning in life is found in being genuine, listening and responding to others honestly and openly and being truly present, here and now.
