Happy Holidays! (Plus, a FREE Gift to Help You Create an Extraordinary 2017)

When I was growing up, every Christmas, my dad would tell us a story about how love manifests through human beings.

The telling of this story has become a holiday tradition in my family. My sons now tell this story to their children at Christmas, and one day, my grandchildren will pass it on to their children, too.

The holiday story goes like this…

There once was a kind and decent man. He was generous to his family. He was upright in his dealings with others, but he just didn’t believe all that incarnation stuff which churches proclaim at Christmastime. (more…)

It’s sometimes easy to forget that Thanksgiving isn’t just about turkey and pumpkin pie.

Thanksgiving is about reflecting on and appreciating all of the good things that we have in our lives.

10 Simple Ways to Spice Up a Stale Relationship on thebridalbox.com

Over the years, I’ve worked with countless clients who looked like they “had it all” from the outside: fulfilling careers, comfortable lives, and beautiful families.

Yet after just a few minutes of speaking with them, they’d often confess that something BIG was missing from their lives. Despite their success, they found themselves struggling to connect with their long-term partners.

Is It “Unspiritual” to Love Money?

Is it wrong to love money? Does loving money make you a less spiritual person?

I used to think so… until an evening in an auditorium changed everything.

It started with a speech that initially shocked and offended me

I’d been studying transformational principles of success since 1971, and one of my most pivotal learning experiences came very soon after I’d started.

That year, I traveled across the country to listen to a man speak.

He was highly successful, to the point where he was filling Lincoln Hall every week in New York City, while teaching people how to transform their lives.

You Were Born to Be Happy, Not Perfect

“One of the basic rules of the universe is that nothing is perfect. Perfection simply doesn’t exist. Without imperfection, neither you nor I would exist.”

~Stephen Hawking, Physicist

So many of us strive for perfection in our daily lives.

In the media and all around us, we are continually exposed to images of the perfect body, the perfect family, the perfect career, the perfect life and the perfect home.

The pressure to be perfect can sometimes feel overwhelming, and this can cause us to make an enormous effort to ensure that nobody finds out what’s really going on “behind the scenes” of our life.

Are You Pretending so others like you?

So often, we pretend to be someone we’re not around people whose approval we crave, instead of being authentic.

We may stifle our true feelings, and not express ourselves fully, in order to gain love, respect or acceptance from friends, family, colleagues or clients — and sometimes, even total strangers.

We Live in a Giving Universe

Albert Einstein once said, “The most important decision we make is whether we believe we live in a friendly or hostile Universe.”

Deep down, we have all made a decision about what kind of Universe we live in, and our life reflects that.

Do you believe that the Universe is for you, or against you?

This is an important question, because the frequency of your thoughts determines the type of life you’re going to have, so it’s vital to keep your vibrational thoughts in alignment with the life you desire.

What a Conversation with Nelson Mandela Taught Me About Finding Purpose Amidst Suffering

find purpose among suffering

Many times, I’ve been asked why bad things happen to good people.

What purpose does pain and suffering serve… and does it come into our lives because we deserve it on some level?

Whatever form the question takes, the answer is nearly always the same:
